McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, a leading academic health center, invites applications for a full-time Instructor, non-tenure clinical genetic counselor position in the Division of Medical Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics. The candidate will join a vibrant clinical practice that includes 3 MD Medical Geneticists, 1 MD/PhD Medical Geneticist, 7 Genetic Counselors, and 32 Metabolic Dieticians in an academic setting providing comprehensive genetic services.
Position Key Accountabilities:
·Contribute to the clinical and educational programs of the Division of Medical Genetics.
·Provide services in the Outpatient Medical Genetics Clinics at the UT Professional Building (UTPB).
·Actively participate in educational activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows at UTHealth through affiliated programs with MD Anderson Cancer Center and Houston Methodist.
Qualifications:
The selected candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling and be board-eligible or board-certified.
